Always difficult to winkle people out on a Sunday night (especially when its a wet & windy one) but people were not put off & my oh my were they rewarded for their determination!!! A brilliant set from Kathryn & Neill in a fantastic venue (Komedia), beautiful, warm intimate songs, great banter between the two & even a few songs from the Mercury nominated album ’Little Black Numbers’. It was certainly worth traveling the fifty or so miles, I love going to Brighton gigs & I’ll be heading back on the 13th May to see the ‘Daughters of Albion’ @ THe Dome where Kathryn co-hosts with Norma Waterson, where some of the finest female folk artists and contemporary singer-songwriters will take the stage.
